Senior Class Giving
For more than 75 years, Caltech seniors have sustained a rich history of giving back to campus as their undergraduate years come to an end. The Senior Class Gift tradition gives students an opportunity to leave a legacy as a group and make a lasting impact on the Institute.
Senior gifts allow students to come together as a class to celebrate their graduation, honor and thank those who made their experiences possible, and make a difference for the faculty and fellow students. Funds raised directly support Caltech students and help pay forward the opportunities and resources that alumni, parents, and friends of Caltech made possible for others.
Every year, the senior class chooses a specific campus program that will benefit from their fundraising. In 2026, the senior class has chosen to raise funds to add a blood orange tree to the Orange Walk. This tree will produce edible fruit that students can enjoy. It is a simple addition that future classes will experience every day, with a plaque recognizing the Class of 2026.
In addition to honoring fellow graduates, participating in the Senior Class Gift is a way to honor the Institute and can help spark an interest in philanthropy.
