Giving Day

Each year, the Caltech Fund hosts a 24-hour Giving Day challenge to support the Institute and our extraordinary community of students, research, and faculty. The campaign aims to celebrate the groundbreaking scientific achievements, innovation, and research that take place at the Institute.

Giving Day is an in-person and online event, with a day full of lively activities and fundraising challenges. Gifts made on this special day have a significant impact on Caltech research, discovery, and our student experience.

And while the official Giving Day is once a year, there are ways to participate on or before the official day. You can double your impact by taking advantage of early matches and challenges or funding a match or challenge yourself. Show your Techer pride and be an advocate for Caltech Giving Day by sharing with your family, friends, and community why donor support of it is critical to Caltech. Donors like you encourage others to do the same and are vital to the success of Caltech Giving Day.

In 2024, Caltech Giving Day supporters contributed a record-breaking level of unrestricted funds through more than 500 individual gifts and generous donor matches.
