History in the Making
The beginnings of the Caltech Fund can be traced back to 1947, when the Caltech Alumni Association created an annual fund as a means for proud alumni to give back to the Institute, and ensure that it had the necessary means to produce world-class scientific research and discovery—year after year.
When you give through the Caltech Fund, you provide immediate, flexible resources that can be used to address top priorities, changing needs, and emerging opportunities at the Institute. As an undergraduate student, it's hard to get access to the kind of cutting-edge aerospace industry work that Caltech does in collaboration with the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. That was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to come to Caltech. I've been part of a NASA team through one of the Artemis missions to develop lunar dust mitigation technology. I can access these opportunities thanks to my scholarship.
